Sweet Idea!

John, owner of Sweet Idea!, needed an identity and Wordpress website. What started as his college side job to help pay tuition blossomed into a full-fledged business for a very niche market: delivering cookies by bicycle to the Tufts University area, from 9pm to 3am, Thursday–Saturday.

I needed to make a WordPress website for my front-end development class, so I created this as a surprise for my favorite local cookie guy. With a client that bikes around in an orange jumpsuit and sells homemade cookies that warn, "Best By: EVERY SECOND COUNTS!", I knew that I could be as fun and whimsical with this small project as I wanted.

Armed with a new identity and web presence, John was able to grow his business to the point where he could partner with food trucks to sell his product and hire employees to help distribute cookies all over the Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston area.
