TripAdvisor Redesign

The final project for General Assembly's User Experience course was to conduct a survey, create personas, and design wireframes for a website or mobile application. I chose to take on a website that I found difficult to use and outdated in design: TripAdvisor. I had just interviewed at their office and learned about the challenges facing their vacation rentals, so I thought that I would put the new knowledge to use and redesign this section of their website.

I performed a usability assessment of the current website (January 2013), researched competitors, ran an online survey, created personas for three users, and suggested improvements to the site design that would help achieve their goals.
